The Gamer Score Gamer's Top 5 Most Anticpated Games For 2016

My 5 most anticipated games of 2016.This was a hard list to come up with. There are a lot of great games coming out next year and we probably don't even know half of them. So lets get started!
1.Crackdown 3
What can I say, I have a sweet spot for Crackdown. There is something about leaping from building to building and eradicating the street gangs at my own place, while a annoying narrator crawls under my skin. I cant wait to clean up pacific city
2. Sea of Thieves 

Imagine a world, where Rare makes games again, now Imagine a pirate adventure that is a MMO and looks epic. Yes then I would be talking about Sea of Thieves. I think this has a huge amount of potential. I could be a captain of a ship, participate in sea battles and find treasure yar maties.
3. Zelda (2016)

The Wii U's saving grace, I don't know but it sure looks damn cool. I have never had a Nintendo console until the Wii U. So this will be my first Zelda game and that alone makes this game, really high on my list. The game play has looked stunning since day one and I cant wait until I'm in Hyrule. 
4. No Man's Sky

A game that never ends, game where the fortieth hour feels like the first. Its sounds like science fiction but no mans sky is now a reality. The idea of exploring the Galaxy for hundreds of hours, sounds like a dream but lucky for us. We only have to wait one more year. 
5. Homefront Revolution 

Here me out, before the pitchforks come hailing from the sky. I think this game, franchise has had a rough time but I'm a huge history buff and after the alternative history master piece Wolfenstein: New Order. I got a itch for a story based game, in a occupied America.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive needs to be free to play

CSGO is the best first-person shooter I've ever played, but at this point, it should go to free to play. It makes a lot of sense, think about it.  Valve has made a lot of free to plays, such as Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2.

Let's be real; I think Valve really doesn't need your $15, even if you paid that much. CSGO, as of 8/8/2015, is the second most popular game on Steam, with 455,926 players. Now that's an achievement by itself, but the number one spot is Dota 2, a free to play with a low barrier to entry (hardware-wise). CSGO is the first-person shooter version of this, but it still carries that $15 price tag, which isn’t that much but still enough to turn off a certain amount of people. My friends who are console centric and play Halo and Call of Duty until their eyes fall out won't give Counter-Strike a chance because of its price. They say that if it were free, they would try the PC's golden baby. This group of console/shooter people would be huge for Counter-Strike, especially since it can run on practically anything. The last Call of Duty sold 19 million, which is 22% more than CSGO, and I don’t think there is much crossover.

This wasn’t good enough just to talk about the history of Valve but the money being made on the market place. I asked five of my closest Steam friends to get a decent estimate of how much money people are spending on the CSGO micro transactions. As you can see from the graph, it's pretty darn close, but you do have your people who spend hundreds of dollars.

So should CSGO be free to play or stick to its pointless price tag? Do you already own CSGO or are you turned off by the price?

I asked 12 Facebook gaming groups, what there most anticipated game was and here are the results.

Some of the results were really interesting like how Zelda only got 4 or how scale bound didn't make the top 5. My beloved crackdown 3 didn't do well. Some key points is that PlayStation Exclusive Uncharted 4 topped the chart, with its younger brother Horizon following behind. Also didn't expect Dark Souls 3 to be this high up but good for it. I'm going dump the Under 5's below.

I learned a lot about Call of Duty sales while making this chart. I think the most interesting part is the Wii U sales were pitiful to say the least, and Xbox is not the home of Call of Duty for the eighth generation of consoles.

When did call of duty sales die?

 Call of Duty got really popular with Modern Warfare but then proceeded to fall for the first time with World at War. Then Modern Warfare 2 came out and carried Call of Duty to great success we know today until ghosts came along and squashed it. Are you buying Black Ops III or is to late for you?
