The Xbox 360 is a TANK

Happy Birthday Xbox 360! The 360s birthday is this month. The 360 has aged but it has aged well.from the time it was created it still has the horsepower to run games today. 360 has held up more than any other console in any other generation.

The Xbox 360 is turning 9 years old on November 22nd . It can still run 2014 games with no problem. Now, are they going to run at 1080p and have 60 frames per second? No. But they can run and that’s insane  if you look at every other console generation. They have given up on the last generation consoles pretty quickly.

Xbox 360 still has games coming out for it. The Xbox 360 just got their own Borderlands game, as of right now, it not going to the next generation. Some of the biggest block busters are still coming to the last genration, Far Cry 4, Titanfall and Assassin Creed Rouge. The Xbox 360 is older than Twitter but is still culturally relevant. I had logged thousands of hours on my Xbox 360 and I thoroughly enjoy playing on it but I think it time for people to move on, sort of.
I really enjoy my Xbox 360 I have probably 60+ unplayed games but the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are substantially better at everything. They're quicker, more powerful and NEW!  A lot  of time I think my Xbox 360 is frozen but its just because it’s too slow. The Xbox One has better visuals and higher frame rates. The load times can actually be increased with hardrives and SSDS.

The Xbox 360 shouldn’t be shelved yet because legends don’t die. The Xbox 360 has support until 2016 (hopefully late) but I think there is enough value and game prices are starting to drop dramatically for you to keep your Xbox 360. Plus, that Gamerscore dough.  I love my Xbox and I will probably never get rid of it.

Pixel Counting

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 came out in 2013, and there has been a huge debate over resolution and frame rates ever since. Does it even matter? I think it doesn't matter as long as the next generation has improved visuals over the last. I own an Xbox One and a gaming PC, so I feel I have a unique view of the situation. I remember in early November, everyone on the internet was giving Xbox a hard time, but I had already had pre-ordered it in August. I had enough faith in the Xbox brand to keep it. I got my Xbox One, gleefully hooked it up with Battlefield 4, and I was speechless. It was only 720p, but it looked much better than anything on the Xbox 360. Then later on I went to my local Gamestop, and they told me basically they had the same experience. Honestly, as gamers, shouldn't we be happy with new consoles as long as there is substantial improvement? I certainly am enjoying the Xbox One, and I hope you're enjoying your console of choice. But more importantly, I hope that everyone is enjoying the next generation of consoles, regardless of its pixel counts.

Dead Rising 3 Review

Dead Rising 3 Review
The game Dead Rising 3 is my favorite game so far on the Xbox One. The game is a stupid amount of fun.  Dead Rising 3 is the best launch exclusive by far. Forza 5 is good but it doesn’t really have that much content and Ryse Son of Rome is little on the short side, except I’m probably going to buy it.
The gameplay in Dead Rising is its strongest asset. The most fun I have had for some time in a video game. There just something about having a microwave laserbeem what disintegrates zombies. The great thing is that as the player you get experience points from killing zombies and then Protagonist can unlock certain abilities such as more inventory slots and the ability to have a bigger posse. The great thing about dead rising is combos in weapons there are literally hundreds of weapons to choose from.
The story is your typical zombies, the city gets quarantined and nuke going to destroy city  .It does job of getting the player from point a and point b without getting to repetitive. The story missions are almost thrown to side because all the crazy amount of stuff to do like fight psychos or save survivors.
There are a few cons such as pop in, that’s when the player is driving down the road  and a wall pops up out of nowhere and a side effect of that is the player wrecks his vehicle. Another con the frame rate will occasionally will crash but this really never killed the overall experience.
Dead Rising is a mixed bag of pros and cons there are issues but I think overall dead rising 3 is a must buy. I think it’s the best game to own right now if you own, an Xbox one. I think it’s a truly unique title that only on the all-in-one Xbox One.
9/10
